The feeling of this song is hard to put into words. It was inspired by a dear friend, one of the best humans we've ever known, that battled depression and was lost too soon. Through the two year process of working on this song we've been able to feel more connected to our friend, and increasingly more somber at the same time. Bittersweet Lullaby is the name that captures it all. If you feel or have ever felt alone, frustrated, or sub-par, we hope that you know that you are not alone. We hope this song helps you feel a connection to so many others in the world. We hope you know that you can get beyond this feeling, and that you WILL see better days. If you need help, please call someone. Do not suffer alone. You are loved. You matter. Sometimes life is a Bittersweet Lullaby, but it doesn't always have to be.
